No, because everyone just buy the gas they needed the day before or the day after the day of NO FUEL. A better idea would be to have everyone use public transportation, bicycles or walking to get around for a month. That would send a message to the gas companies. It would just be hard to do in some locations due to no public transportation or the distance of the person's home from their destination.
