Question: ...and then your food came to the table and it was exactly what you ordered and when you ate it it tasted just like what you thought it would taste like and was the right temperature for human consumption and you didn't have to sit in your booth and pretend that everything was okay when it really wasn't and bide your time until you could leave a 5% tip and a nasty note on the backside of the bill threatening bodily harm to one or all of the wait staff?

You need to be summarily pummeled by a oversized piece of cauliflower, and I don't care how bad the service is...YOU try to "wait tables," and then tell me the same sob story again, when your employer slams YOU with 20 tables all at once, the chef has his head up his oz, and your bussers are all out in the back by the dumpster smoking a big fatty, instead of helping you wait on 50 people, all of who are mentally disorganized morons who couldn't figure out what they want to eat if it would save their pathetic little wussie diner lives...

Oh dream ON! When I go to a restaurant more often than not they forget to bring my food at all. Everyone around me is eating, including people who were seated way after me and Im still waiting. If I get the food I ordered its usually been prepared in advance then microwaved, only its not hot all the way through. If I order anything with fries they are sure to be cold. If there is seafood involved, they have that used to be frozen taste.......... but there was one memorable occasion when I went to a seedy biker bar/restaurant, and ordered a steak marinated in bourbon with fries and salad, and it was melt in my mouth perfection, best steak Id ever tasted.
I saw stuff on the menu once. I licked it and it tasted like burned grease. I ordered it, but the waiter didn't seem to understand. I want this, boy, what is it? A stain sir. But I like it, what is it? It's a stain sir. On and on, to infinitude.

When I get good service, I top 20%... 5% is just mean.. esp for good service..
I only eat sit-down meals at the Waffle House..... you can scrutinize the cooking and you know it'll be hot when you get it 'cause they don't have anywhere to sit the plate once cooked except on your table.
