How can you tell when someone has wit, charm, and intelligence online?!
Question: Well online photo and appearance are not symbolical that allow for prejudice of a person. So given a chance a persons wit and charm comes running through. Others show their foolish arrogance. Some of US have loads of useless knowledge and on a forum like answers suddenly we become witty and charming. But that is not in any form intelligence. While some of us see answers and can give one line answers. We digress and take the person by the hand and walk them through the different thoughts and points to explain. The more colorful a person can answer will ensure that person is one of the top contributers. Some people are so wonderful they are always on. When do they work, or are they on a dead end job that gives them time to be on. That shows a very successful person!

For me to say that a very unique authentic self must shine through their answers. Which could explain why my chatty contacts disappear and reappear so often.

By the consistency they show in their questions, answers, and of course there's word choice/word play. It doesn't happen by accident.
I am telling you now...I am witty, charming and intellectual ;o)
...I become drawn to them in a positive and reassuring way and even look forward to seeing them on line
witty comments offcourse, and they could make you laugh without you seeing their face.

For me they just have an indubitable attitude-they ostend pleasing answers without being venomous even when they tend to disagree with others and they respect all fellow members, and of course can let their hair down and have fun without being perverse.

It may be a little hard to know the extent of those qualities, but one thing for sure, it is not too hard to notice if those same qualities are missing. In person there are nonverbal cues to pick up on. Online it would be fun if someone figured out a way to add that dimension beyond the linear parade of words and sentences.
