Actually I do both. I love my Netflix, but some movies you can tell are renters, so just wait and get it on Netflix!
Netflix - cheaper, no rude people with cell phones, yapping mouths or crying babies, and the snacks are WAY more affordable..... Bonus - rewind when you miss, pause when you piss.

It all depends on if you wanna get out of the house or not. Netflix has revolutionized the movie experience. Having the choice of not leaving your house has driven many people to this option. With the advent of better quality t.v's this is a win win situation. It is also quite easy to use netflix and there are many plans available as well.
NETFLIX - theatre costs way too much
Netflix! for all these reasons: THE PRICE, using your own bathroom, your comfy sofa, you can wear your pj's, the ability to 'pause' the movie, no annoying theatregoers ruining your movie experience w/their talking, etc., no expensive concession stand purchases. It's the ONLY way to go.

sure. renting movies is fun but if you forget you even rented them in the first place and you lose them, the netflix people start to bug you and charge you each month for the movie. so that would cost more than any old movie ticket.
besides, who can resist the buttery popcorn at the movies?
