Parenting?.....it is the most wonderful experience in the entire universe....our girls are our world & we've watched them grown from being totally dependant on us for everything to independant young women who know what they want from life & know how to get it through hard work...whether that be their jobs or their relationships.
And the bonus for us as parents is to sit back & watch our eldest with her boys....teaching them to grow from being totally dependant on her to independant young men.....they are only 7 & 8 years of age at the moment but we are SO proud of the way she has handled every situation that has arisen....knowing that some of the methods of child care she has implemented with our grandsons are what she learned from us!

I am confused by this question... is parenting a waste of money? How could that be?
Being a parent is the greatest thing in the world in my opinion.
My son is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. He made me into a better person, he gives me the best smiles every morning and reminds me that i love life and the world we live in. What more could you want from children?
It's the best and most rewarding thing I have been blessed with and Im only a mother of one. I can't wait to extend our family and treasure many more angels :-)
my little girl is 20 months and although she can be a bit of a handfull she brings me all the joy in the world so yes i would say it is definately worth it!
I think a "waste of money" is the wrong phrase to use....how can it be a waste of money to bring up a child. That said, my husband and I haven't started a family together yet and are completely daunted by the financial tie it will bring. That, at the mo, is putting us off. I've never felt the unconditional love a parent feels for a baby so I don't have that to bolster the "amazing" side of your arguement.
anyone who thinks of children as waste of money is not worth having children, they are not more than self loving, selfish individuals!
There is nothing greater than being a parent. My children are the best thing I ever did
I love being a mum i've a little girl who's 3 and a little boy who's 2 they keep me busy and drive me mad half the time but there is nothing i like spending my money on than the kids, it's the best thing in the world gives me a real sense of achievement when i teach them something some.
Parenting and being a parent is wonderful and truly rewarding ...and yes i think you can waste too much money sometimes by buying too many toys, clothes and fancy things ..when children don't really need all this ..yes kids need clothes and to be fed and some toys....but do you have to spend a fortune doing it ... no as long as there its lots of love and kindness and things you can afford everyone can be happy
I presume that it is single people or couples who don't have any kids who are saying that parenting is a waste of money! OMG money doesn't come into it!!! We have a family because we want to have one, not anything to do with MONEY!
I believe that once u are happy that is all that really matters...so if u have a child and ur happy that is wonderful and not a waste of money...
