Should Yahoo display age ratings?!
Question: Getting a wee bit bored with hearing "oh children could be on here" for the life of me as parent I could not understand a child to be here unsupervised anyways
But should we be able to put a U PG PG13 15 or 18 beside our questions

I think that's a very good suggestion yes, and one which I believe you should post on the forums as they might check it over.
Totally agree, however they would just lie about their age anyway!
Hey that is a great idea, but I do think it will be very difficult to monitor...
it's easy to figure out who the kids are on yahoo answers. they can't spell, put together a proper paragraph, and ask idiotic questions.
that being said, yes, i would prefer they be relegated to a teenage part of yahoo. there's just no way to verify age accurately.
No age as the answers from all age groups are very interesting and not knowing how old they are....besides, if anything is that bad, it will receive a violation!
I think the teens need their own Y! Answers to talk about "emos", "boy bands", "the Jonas Brothers" and "Hannah Montana".

Yes, there should be age separation, but all on the same Yahoo! Answers. Just filter out some questions based on profile settings.
According to Yahoos own rules you have to be at least 13 years old to use this site...It's up to parental control not Yahoo or us, the wonderful users to see this rule is kept.

There should be a section on Yahoo Answers for the teens, and that section should be censored, whereas, the rest of us whould be allowed to answer as many questions as we want without having to modify our language so that children are not influenced by us. So I think an age rating beside our question would be a good idea.
Yes, I should be able to ask explicit questions and use mature language like f*** and c*** and x********************, because I'm over 18 and am allowed to. Heck I can get drunk and crash my legally owned car into a tree so why can't I talk about adult stuff here.
