I think the Fraggles, they are bigger, quicker, and tunnel better. Plus, the blue skin of the Smurfs stands out to much.

They've got Doozers on their side and even though Gargamel is a big guy, he's easily defeated....the proof is in the ending of every Smurfs episode.

Them Smurfs roll mad deep,yo! There is like a million of them. All they got to do is have Smurfette flash the Fraggles, and it would be OVER! Plus they are smaller and they can hide better.
Smurfs, they may be small but they're mighty and united and organized. Plus their leader is real cool, so like they would fight and then sing anyway.
