i prefer to commute to work because where i live, its easiest plus it helps the enviroment.

I love to cycle to work, but in my climate I can only do this for a few months out of the year. Some people around here are crazy and do it every day- even in blizzards!
I prefer to drive because it's my one alone time of the day where I can reflect, enjoy my music, and just enjoy my company.

I drive to work b/c its right off the highway.
I walk to work. Its literally a straight line from my front door to the door of the office and it takes less than five minutes.
It is slightly uphill though, so leaves me a little out of breath by the time I've done it, which means it is good exercise.
i do not work however if i go into town its by bus.I do not drive.
Walk to work, it's only seven minutes away if I hurry ... ten if I don't.

I really prefer to be driven to work, but since there's no chance in hell of that happening I prefer to drive.

It's way to far to walk and i dont have a bike.
well ii could walk to work but i dont like to walk and I drive to work now but with the way gas prices are I should invest into a bike..lol..air isnt that much.lol..
I'd prefer to walk but its too far and i drop my son on the way too so id never be in on time!!! xx

I'm a teacher in a state university. My house is just a block away. So I prefer to walk. Usually my classes starts at 7a.m. so it's a great way to start the day. First, the view of the sunrise is lovely and did I mention our university campus is near a gulf? If you're familiar with the Gulf of Leyte (have read about it), I'm from that area.
Second, I have a very sedentary life and I'm very much a workaholic so I usually walk to exercise my limbs.
Third, it doesn't cost a thing and it's a health-wise activity. Firmer legs and sexier muscles.
Fourth, it's pollution-free =). Legs for transport.
Fifth, I can greet my neighbors early in the morning before going to work and have a nice "good morning" chat.
Sixth, gears me to the right mood for work.
Lastly, I love my walking shoes. =)
