***Why doesn't Rose let Jack share the floating door when the Titanic sinks?!

Question: And then she threw the blue gem necklace over the edge of the boat?!?! Was she just being a b**** or what?

Answers: And then she threw the blue gem necklace over the edge of the boat?!?! Was she just being a b**** or what?

I know!! I never got why he didn't also get up on the door. I mean he only tried ONCE and then was like "aww, forget it".

CAUSE SHES A SELFISH BE@TCH!

She's a woman, women don't do things that make sense. Selfish!

greedy selfish skank

jack did try to get on the door but fell off. u need to pay attention to the movie more.

Pretty much, you know how much that necklace was worth?!

Because they both knew she was heavy enough.

there was only room for one bloated actor on that door, how else would she keep that enormous hind dry?

She was a b**** and also they probably would have been 2 heavy for the door.

to make people cry

Well, she was too fat for Jack to fit on the board too. She took all the space.

No, he wouldn't let her!

CUZ SHES TOO CHUBBY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Sorry.

Erm, I really don't know, I think, maybe, because shes erm...TOOOO CHUBBBY!!!!

She is a greedy ******

because him dying would make it much more dramatic and would make u cry at the end....would have u cried if he hadn't died?
and yes, it's also partially because she was a biznitch.

OMG BEST MOVIE EVER, and if you'd listen to it, it wasn't strong enough to hold both of them up, and he told her to get on, she said no but he insisted. and she threw it over bc it had to many memories to be sold for money. she wanted closure.

Well if they would have shared it they still would have both died because they would have both partly been in the water and got hypothermia, she threw the necklace over the boat because it was a gift from the douche bag rich guy.

Though I think she was retarded for throwing expensive jewelry over, I dont care who its from, jewelry is jewelry.

the door would sink with them both on it!
as far as the necklace, if i was the granddaughter id thrown grandma after it!! she couldve passed it to her! lol

When I first saw that I thought, why doesn't he climb on something else? I know he wanted to be a gentleman but he could have survived too if he had climbed on one of those other floating objects surrounding them, I'm sure the door wasn't the only thing out there.

cause the door thing would have sank with both of them on.
Maybe she threw the the necklace over the end cause it was that horrible guys and she didnt want memories of him.

the floating door was only enough for one person. as for the gem necklace it was her property so her choice to do with it what she wants

Jack doesn't let her share the door because it can't support the weight of both of them, and he loves her.

He tried to get on but it started to sink so he got off again like a gentleman. As for the necklace, I have a harder time with that one.

If you remember Jack tried to get on the door with her but it wouldn't hold both of them. The necklace was a reminder of the horrible man she was to marry. And throwing it in the ocean was her way of letting go of bad memories

she does let him he falls off

Because if both of them were to be on the door, it would sink into the water, therefore getting them both very wet (if they could both even stay on it, which they probably couldn't) and then they would freeze to death/die of hypothermia even quicker than they would have. Might as well save one person, not kill both.

Throwing the necklace into the ocean? She put it back where it belongs. She never really wanted it in the first place (Cal gave it to her) and she only associates it with him, and her time on the ship. Remember, she said she had never told anyone about what happened to her on the Titanic, so it seems like she wanted to forget that part of her life. She had started a new one in NYC when she gave the name, "Rose Dawson," not her real name. She just wanted to put everything back where it belonged..in the ocean, and in the back of her mind.

No, both of them would have been too heavy and they would have sunk, so he let her stay afloat

I guess because she want him to dive deep down and be the first "gem-diver" in that instance ...unfortunately he felt cold and couldn't open his arms to swim...Poor Jack..!!!

yea a dumb one at that

this is judge by the God

the door couldnt support both of them and as for the gem i say........she was insane she could have at least sold it
