My parents were so dumb they couldn't teach a fish how to swim. They yelled and screamed at me the morning of my driving test, thinking they were "preparing" me, and I failed it inevitably. I went by myself the 2nd time and passed.

Yes.Some kids are poor with no familys or sick with cancer and its sad.I just thank god everyday i am not like that.I never was Abused or anything.Actually i don't regret this life god chose for me!:)

I am grateful for the way I was raised. My parents both died when they were in their 50s, so it makes me appreaciate them even more. What bad things I do remember, I have tried to overcome and break the mold.
yeah i am grateful. my parents are sooooo not the warm and cuddly supportive type, but i didnt turn out so bad (my friends would find that statement debatable =P )

I'm grateful for being preserved from drugs but I hate my background for the excessive control which left deep psychological wounds. There are times when a stable and sheltered upbringing does more harm than good. So I am not bitter, just moving on and rebuilding my life. I don't think that way about anyone, just want to get on with my life without being hurt and without hurting anyone.
my parents were brilliant and i so wish i could tell them cos i didn't really think about it until it was too late
