When I was married many years ago my husband took me horse back riding. It was ready to storm and the horse buked up on me and ran me into a fence. Stunned and confused I was ready to go home. My husband insisted we continue on because he already paid for it. I continued on the trail with these big horseflies biting me at my wounds. Yep, divorced him. They hurt like you wouldn't believe! I felt like I had the whole football team running in spikes over me the next day.
I have, i was at White Lake one day and about 1or 14 of them were chasing mea and my usion, we jumped off the peir and into the lake. It was scary cause i hate bugs. It left a red mark on me for about a week.
Yes. They seem work in teams. One distracts you and the other bites. Between them, deerflies, and mosquitos it's a wonder that I have any blood to donate in the summer.
