I usually leave it as it is and see how many thumbs down I can get. Sometimes I will delete the answer, but that is rare.

What would be the point of Y! answers if everyone changed or deleted their answers when they get a thumbs down?
The point is that evrybody has their own opinion, and not everyone's gonna agree with it...but that doesn't make it wrong!

I agree with everyone else on this one. Its my opinion, Im not saying you have to like it, but you asked for it.

I would never change it because of thumbs down. To tell you the truth I very seldom notice them on my own answers, because they don't mean anything to me. It can get me riled a little bit if they are on a good answer by someone else. Weird, huh?

Absolutely not I'm entitled to my opinion as you are to yours I leave it. I will never delete or change my response because someone else doesn't agree. Being different is a good thing.
I leave it. I often try to figure out why I got thumbs down. Sometimes I understand why. At other times I don't.
I rarely debate, for people make up their minds and refuse to change.
