Does Online Instruction Really Work?!

Question: Art Institute , Phoenix University, ITT Technical Institute, Penn College and many others are popular online universities. Have you ever gone to school in your own home? Which online college are you attending or did you attend? Are you happy with your knowledge gained? Did you get a good/better job? Thank you.

Yes- I have taken online courses for continuing CEU's (continuing education credits) for healthcare. They work fine. And you can study at your own pace, providing you get the work done by the time they specify. Which is usually a year or two.
You just have to make sure you take a course from a reputable university or college. Some are "diploma mills" where you are just paying for the diploma, but they don't really prepare you for the job.
They should be accredited by the Department of Higher Education, and several other accrediting agencies. Check if credits are transferrable also by calling your local college or university. You may want to go for a higher degree in your chosen field. You want to make sure credits are transferable to the college you want to attend.

Not personally, but I have instructed and sit next to a "On-line Instructor" .... it is all on the student..... most of the information you get is on target.... However, if you can learn by reading or watching the computer screen ... it's great ... if your more of a hands on person ... don't waist the time & money .
