Phone thats relatively cheap???!

Question: Just looking for a phone to use for calling people. I'm not a HUGE texter or extremely talkative but i do need one.

What are some good phones from like AT&T or Verizon or anything that have cheap monthly costs (my mom is helping me pay for it so it has to be cheap)

P.S. I'm not looking for a top-up phone just a one thats monthly payments

Anyone have a good phone plan that they wanna tell me about, I would truly value it.

***I put this on Polls and Surveys because there is lots of people here, so many opinions

Try calling Tmobile or look at them on line. They have excellent plans and coverage and they are one of the only ones I have found that you can demand a one year contract only and they will agree. I have carried a one year plan for the past 6 years and the rest of the others require a minimum of two years. Signing with them for one year can also get the phone free in most cases and you are required a one time fee of $35 for activation. Good Luck

I dont know one ..but will watch with intrest good question

trac-fone, maybe?

Prepaid-TracFone

as far as i can tell something like Metro or Cricket would be the cheapest. They charge a flat fee and Metro gives u texting too if u want it. Depends on what area u live in.
I know Metro is in Fl and cricket is in COL

Try Tracfone. Their phones are inexpensive and basic, there's no contract or credit check or long term commitment, and they are prepaid so you don't pay for minutes you don't use.

I am able to get minutes as cheaply as 9 cents per minute. That's not bad, especially if you aren't a big talker on cell phones...

have you heard of cricket phones? i dont know where you live but you buy the phone between 100-200 depending on the phone and then its 50 a month unlimited anytime no hidden fee here is a web site for it, and type in your zip code and see if they are availible in your area. they have different plans but i have the 50.00 one and this is what my plan is
UNLIMITED: anytime minutes
UNLIMITED: US long distance (excluding Alaska)
UNLIMITED: coverage in all Cricket calling areas
UNLIMITED: 411 directory assistance
UNLIMITED: mobile web access
FREE text & picture messaging
Voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, 3-way calling, & call forwarding
and i think is a good deal
