Question: Don't you think it's amazing that people who saw The Passion Of The Christ said they didn't like it because it was too gory, but they have utterly no problem watching "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" or "Dawn of the Dead" and say that those two movies were just beautifully harmless? lol That cracks me up.

i guess becuz the Passion of the Christ is more hard to watch becuz it actaully happened.. so its harder to take in. the other movies are strictly for entertainment, and are meant to gross you out.
i found this film very sad , but i find all films about the death of Jesus Christ very sad,, and it does make me cry when in the film Jesus is put on the cross but I'm just a big soft lump anyway
Deep down, this film makes people uncomfortable because they have a guilt feeling. Jesus died for us all, even the atheists who scoff at that. And to watch Jesus suffer and die for you, well, that cannot help but be shocking and cause very strong feelings.
People don't want to ackowledge that Jesus loved them that much, thus the aversion for this movie. Thats my take anyhow.

It doesn't strike me as funny. But it does cause me great concern for the souls of these people. The Passion Of The Christ was shocking brutal and cruel. Because the trial, beating, scourging, and Crucifixion of Christ was. This was the most accurate and realistic portrayal of the Crucifixion of Christ that I have ever heard of or seen. Any with any knowledge of th history of this time would know this we dead on accurate.
Pray for those who do not understand the message of The Passion Of The Christ. Pray for their souls. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move them to seek salvation
