Fetal postion is good...but i prefer the rocking backwards and forwards nose dripping kind of postion personally..

No need to pretend... at least not to yourself. But you do need to put something else on the stage of your mind to displace the bad memories.

That's the problem with some people; they think that they can just push the bad things off the stage and leave it empty. Doesn't work... something always has to be on that stage.

So choose something that is pleasant and really concentrate on it. Rehashing the bad day will do nothing good. Give yourself a break from the crap.

Most likely because you said fetal. Say what's wrong and maybe it will lose its hold on you. If things aren't okay, you're not going to make it better by pretending. You might what to really look at why you want to get into the fetal position and see if you can work on that. I don't know how helpful I can be since I'm not totally sure what's bothering you.
