They're so hard to compare; Bob kept with the more traditional side of folk but added so much whereas Neil really brought it forward
There's so many artists in recent years who've taken inspiration from both of them (Elliott Smith, White Stripes even Kurt Cobain) and would never exist if it wasn't for both; without bob or neil grunge would never have happened!
They have equal right to the title of 'king of folk rock' but without either of them music today would be totally different (and nowhere near as good!)
They compliment each other perfectly but, to an extent, they also need each other; do you think Neil would be as famous without Bob or vice versa?
Neil Young - because his tunes are far better, not just than Bobs, but most people who have ever tried to record a song

dylan writes the better songs but young has the voice.

I love Dylan, and Dylan is one of Young's heroes, but Dylan is a mess today. You can tell drugs and the whole industry and a hard life have taken its toll. I saw Neil Young and Crazyhorse a couple years back on their Greendale tour, and they rocked the house down! Neil Young is very amazing, and will continue to put out really great music, both folk and rock, for years to come.

Neil young has some top top tunes,
But Dylan will always have that extra something, he's got that uber chic Rock and Roll aura that he was born with. He's got such presance.

Went to a Bob Dylan concert last year and Bob was so drunk and high. He didnt even introduce his band and I barely able to understand his words when he sang.

I like Neil Young, but I'll say Bob Dylan. I am not a fan of Bob Dylan's voice, but I do love his lyrics, and he has had so many covers done of his songs, almost anybody has heard a Dylan song.
