I musn't have heard the song you are talking about...

probably not.

Such a song exists? Please, provide a link, I have to hear it!

LOL, yes! Cannot think of any other country.
Have not heard it, though.

Well it isn't a hit, i can tell you that. I haven't heard it and Americans aren't THAT stupid. There is no way in hell that would sell. Now about it existing...i don't know. It's definitely possible.

Perhaps.
I must hear this song, do you by any chance have a link you care to share?
Thank you (:

You're talking about the alan jackson song? Of course it's a country song.

Ya, I agree it's pretty naive to say that.

Although, I feel like the way he says it he's being pretty honest and vulnerable by admitting that he really just doesn't know the difference.

And the song was written before the war in Iraq.

If this is even the song you're describing.

Yes, in other languages Iran and Iraq don't sound alike.
Iranians are Persian
Iraqis are Arabs

I know that song!! =)
It's great.
What is it called again?
I can still remember the lyrics.
"I watch cnn but im not sure i could tell ya, the difference in Iraq and Iran. But, i know Jesus and i talk to God, and i remember this from when i was young. Faith, Hope, And Love are some good things he gave us. But, the greatest is love. I love that song! =)

Most people I know that served in the military still do not know the true difference. I tell them that Iran means "Land of the Aryans" and they argue back that it is impossible since Aryans are white people and Iran is not white. They also do not believe that Persian people are Iranian people. It's quite ashame that America does not teach more history about the middle east. They choose to teach more about Europe and what not. I think they should teach about it all personally. What is wrong with being universal and intelligent?

Yes!...but thats a good thing

what song would that be please, is there a link..

A wonderful song by Alan Jackson. One of my fave country artists. It's just saying that no matter where you are, who you are, we should love one another. Nothing wrong with that.
