When watching a horror or suspense movie, do you cover your eyes to a "scar!

I sure do, every time I watch video of when me and my ex wife got married....
yeah, when I was a kid I did that a lot. When I was like 8, my Dad was watching the Exorcist, and I joined him. Kept my eyes covered for most of the movie.
I have once and I actually swung my head to the side because of how unexpected it was....haha!

i watch the 'scary scenes'. doesn't mean i don't get scared, cuz i do.... but what's the point of watching a film if i'm going to cover my eyes and not watch certain parts?
sometimes, or what i usually do (which is really stupid) is have a poncho on or something like that, and peer through the holes with my eyes squinting. Always seems to help! my bf just laughs at me. whatever i do, the noise scares me to!!

Good morning lovely. No, I watch with eyes wide open. However...hubby has to walk me to the bathroom, and check behind the shower curtain before I can safely pee. Then he has to wait right outside the door so I know where he is. (He's notorious for getting a good belly laugh out of scaring the patootie out of me) I can't sit with my back to a window or door either. lol Gosh I love scary movies!!
i covered my eyes but i still got scared cos of the music in the background so now days i cover my ears and close my eyes

No, because I payed to see a movie and not some shadow blocking the screen... I mean honestly you know what your going to see before you even enter the dang theater! It says Rated R, PG-13, and etc... YOU DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANT TO WATCH IT OR NOT...

Like i remember watching Harry Potter when i was about 10 and i covered my eyes when Voldemort appeared! Hehe
