I used to like "going bush". My first job was as a jillaroo (cowgirl) and I spent a lot of time in the middle of nowhere in the Australian outback with just my horse and cattle for company. I guess that isn't very commando.
Hunting wild pigs? It was my job to kill enough wild pigs to feed over 30 station dogs. I would take the pig dogs with me (as opposed to the cattle dogs or sheep dogs.. we ran both). The dogs find the pigs chase them down and hold them down by the ears so you can decapitate with a machete or shoot them (pigs not dogs). Extremely dangerous, they were huge hairy feral pigs. The sows were more dangerous than the boars, I got treed a few times. I can't beleive I used to kill things so easily without feeling anyhing. Boy have I changed.
How about scrambling through the rainforests on Miaila amongst leeches, deadly snakes and stinging trees ? That was more commando-like. Probably all pretty lame next to what other people do. L.

I decided to go commando, about 3 months ago. One night I had to run out to the F*&^'n supermarket. I hate supermarkets. Anyway, I just got out of the shower when I realized I needed somethings. I was too lazy to put on a pair of underwear, when I got dressed. It felt so cool, and my nuts felt so much better. I felt free. Now I go commando full-time, and let my body feel free.
