I agree. I think the last season I watched was when Carrie Underwood won. (Did she win...I'm not even sure.) It was one of my fav shows when I was into reality shows. But the last three years I've become tired of them. I lost interested in American Idol, Survivor and any MTV show.
How many manufactured stars can they crank out? It just makes it too easy for singers to get a big break. Now anyone can get a record contract. I think reality TV as a whole needs to end.
Yeah, this season has been ridiculously overhyped and boring. I stopped watching right after they chose the final 24. I didn't watch the last season at all.
Couple of them are alright singers....

I really only watched, like the first two seasons, and know only like 3 American Idols....
