Have any of you ever burnt toast or water?!
Question: yes i set a kitchen toaster on fire , an burnt the botteom out of a pan of water. my wife will not allow me near the kitchen stove, an my fellow firefighters see to it i never cook at the station.

Toast yes, the pan the water was boiling in that I forgot about, yes, the water evaporated.
I have burned toast when I forgot to change the setting on the toaster!
Water - no.
Toast - a few times.
The thing that I always burn is garlic bread. I set the oven on broil because I like the top of the bread to be sort of crunchy, but no matter how many times I repeat to myself "Don't forget the garlic bread" over and over, I always manage to forget it.
