Sometimes I do and here is the reason why: A while back I answered a question very thoroughly and thoughtfully trying to give as good an answer as possible in a helpful manner. When I checked on it, it had been resolved and decided by votes. One person voted for an answer that didn't have two words in it. That's why I am a strong believer in the asker giving the best answer.
