What's the deal with england and those mini fridges?!


Question: why can't yall have a regular fridge? i would die if i had to go to the grocery store every day. is there some kind of rule against them getting a regular sized fridge?

Most other countries prefer the freshness of the food when shopping everyday. Also the social settings of markets, not like Wal-Mart.

It's so they can fit all those mini bottles of booze

We do get regular sized ones, in our kitchens. The mini ones are really useful though, if you need to keep something cold and you don't have enough room for a big one or there isn't any point getting a big one if you're only gonna use if for small things. They're good for sleepovers, you can keep the icecream in them without having to worry about trekking downstairs or it melting.

You can carry it around?

Unlike Americans we actually like eating FRESH food, not stuff that's been stuck in a fridge for a week or so.

Though if you are talking about true "mini fridges", they are only used to store beer/wine, not food

I think they are smart because thy probably save on energy. And it cost a lot to live in England

I have one in my Family room just for to keep the Pop in saving going up the stairs all the time
