Yes, I always check my mail even after it's too late for anything else to come. And I check my emails every 5 seconds. It's exhausting.
Depends on the situation.... I'm assuming the "box of ten" to be your books and in that case I don't know if I'd be able to wait.....Just like Christmas!

I've been sleeping in my mailbox....no problem, the nights aren't that COLD....but the post office told me I couldn't build a campfire on the premises....nasty USPS!!!!!
But, once they're gone for the day, I roast hot dogs over my Bic lighter.....that'll show em!!!!!
