Question: Okay, so me and my brother are full-out Republicans. He wants a Democrat to win to show that the Democrats will not help the USA (which I don't think they will), and then all the Democrats can shut up about dub-yah ruining the USA.

I can see why your brother thinks the way he does. But you have to remember that it all comes down to the individual candidates' stand on issues. Because I know Dems who don't agree on everything that the Democrats say.
