Do you think there really is such a thing as a "painless" death?!

Question: I think there has to be some kind of discomfort involved in every death.

How can anyone prove there's not? All the people who have experienced it can't tell anyone what the exact moment when life meets death feels like because they are dead.

What do you think?

you know i was discussing this the other day with friends. and i agree with you when someone dies they cant come back and tell you that oh it didnt hurt or it did. Its like when people say i want to die in my sleep quick and painless how do we know they dont feel it or maybe they felt paralyzed we dont know. No death my be non-painful...but what i can tell you is that some ways or way more painful to die then others....
With love Molly~!

dude.
i always wonder.
but yes, i do believe.
i have no statement to support what i'm saying so goodluck.
XD

You can't prove there isn't, but I'd say ya. If you pass in your sleep. Ya know, just go to sleep and never wake up.

My cat recently died, and it did NOT look painless. It was one of the worst things I had ever seen.

in your sleep?
my grandpa passed away in his sleep and i was by his side the whole time...and well i dont think he struggled or anything and his heart monitor was normal throughout..like there were no moments of sudden fast beats.

What about dying in your sleep?
It's unexpected and you don't know what's going on till you meet Jesus at the Gate, right?

Lol, just stating what I think..

Just put the chosen one under anaestasia, then kill him. Simple

I think those deaths that are instanteous like...in a car crash for example, are painless.
Like all the other posters said, there isn't any way to know for sure, but it follows that if you aren't conscious, most likely, if you die without waking up, it's probably painless.

I've wondered about that for many years and yes you are crazy! I am too! I think that a death that a person doesn't notice is painless. I mean if you aren't aware ie knocked unconscious you won't feel it or if you are killed instantly you won't notice it. If you are murdered by being shot in the back of the head and didn't see it coming then I think it will be painless. I'm not a doctor or scientist so my answer is just that. My answer. I like your question. Have a nice day.
