Why do you give thumbs down?!
Question: I go back to questions I asked and I often have a couple thumbs down, even if I answered a completely neutral question in a completly neutral way. I see that other people have them too. Why do you thumbs down people? Do you ever do it just to make your answer look better?

I give thumbs down if the answer is rude or really perverted or something like that. Sometimes I do give thumbs down if they have a different opinion than me but it depends on what the question is and what they said.
I do it because I don't like what they said.
Quite honestly its also because they have a different opinion than me. it doesn't bother me that people give me a thumbs down.

a.) their answer is rude.
b.) they don`t agree with their opinion.
c.) they`re trolls and have nothing else to do.

People have nothing better to do, also when you report a question it gives it a thumb down and since reporting seems to be the new cool on here that could be a good reason why so many answers get thumbs downs!
I wouldn't do it to make my answer look better, there's no point because then all the other answers would have thumbs downs and mine wouldn't, it'd be obvious that I did it, not that I care but I don't want people to think I'm a troll since I'm not!
I give thumbs down coz the answer does not look good or that the person was being really mean to the person in the answer that they give to the question that was asked.
