Do chickens ever die a natural death?!

Question: I mean think about it!

Answers: I mean think about it!

yeah..
city kid xD

Well "Purdue" say thier's are all natural ...... I guess there all very old.

rarely.....lol

hahaha probably not... I mean who would raise a chicken until they grow old and die?

yep I think so

Being turned into McNuggets is as natural as breathing.

arent humans natural? so isnt us killing "natural death"? according to religion, and common sense, we are as natural as any other animal on earth. so isnt what we do natural as well? we dont do anything except manipulate the world around us, the same that any animal does.

Yeah sometimes people have them as pets and they die of old age. My grandfather had roosters in the Dominican Republic.

yea they do... alot of them die a natural death go 2 a freackin farm and u mite learn a thing or 2...

most of the time, not. since so many are slaughtered every day.

Yes - pets

The way we treat animals and exploit them for food and byproducts, I'd say most die unnaturally at our hands.

Yes there is chickens that only lay eggs

About 9% of poultry raised commercially dies during the process, due to infection or other natural cause. Most poultry operation have large composting operations to turn the dead carcasses into fertilizer, along with the excrement.

There are barely any of them that don't get killed~

Perhaps some of them do, yes.

Yes my dear they do.

well....my cousin just got a batch of chicks along with their mother...he loves them to death (yea..he's a redneck/hillbilly), so i dont think he's going to hurt them.
im pretty sure those few lucky chickens will live a full life...
:)

Of course they do.

Are you a city kid? I am but we still keep chickens.
