She reminds me of LULU in the sixties
At first I hated her, I thought she was trying to rip off Amy Winehouse. But she has grown on me. She's ok.
well i like the song, but i think the people who know Lulu agree that they sound very similar.

I love her voice and unlike Winehouse she can actually hit the notes and doesn't just rely on having a unique sound.
This might be slightly unfair.. it was just bad timing.. but I think she is very similar to Winehouse, and that does nothing for her appeal. Winehouse’s sound seemed new, exciting and refreshing, which is part of her success. Duffy just doesn’t seem to have that appeal. I also think she tries too hard with the whole sixties thing, it doesn’t seem natural.
I just downloaded her album on my I-pod, her voice suits ‘Mercy’, for example, but if truth be told, her voice really does begin to grate on me after a while! Good luck to her though.
