Well I'm watching cheaters right now and it's a female....but before this episode it was a male...so I'm going to say it's equal.

I have been cheated on twice, and both times by a male. (I'm bisexual.) so my thoughts are that males cheat more..but i am fully aware that i could be wrong.
I think it might be equal.
I'd say both because people claim to have multiple reasons for doing such. Infidelity can stem from lack of interest, lack of affection, desire to do so, the list goes on. I honestly believe that one cannot narrow it down to a male or female.
