Do you build walls around yourself?!

Question: To keep people out? Or to see who cares enough to knock them down?

Answers: To keep people out? Or to see who cares enough to knock them down?

To see who cares enough to knock them down.

I'm still waiting for my Gladiator to storm this fortress!

I don't

nope, i don't build walls around me

Nope.

both

The first. If I wanted them down I wouldn't have them.

actually yes we are just building an exstention on the house

All the time. I might leave a little window for the people I'm close to, though.

out

sometimes i do

I think I do and alway have. I'm just a loner........an island.

Sometimes to protect myself from being hurt again x

i do when i see someone is trying to hurt me!!!!!!

I must

To keep people out. i hardly talk to anyone except my wonderful man. everyone else has made my life miserable

No, I build walls around you...mwahahahahaha!!!

I think its to keep people out. I used to think it was to see who cared to break them down, but every time someone tries to break them down I just build them higher.

No, what purpose would that serve?

Yes but people keep getting in =)

I have made a door for my husband, He comes in when he likes.

nope

both kind of

No I don't but if you cross my then you got no hope of getting anywhere near me :-)

no never..i build walls around some people i prefer to keep my distance from...

Most of the time ! yes

Yes I do but then I believe most people do - particularly when around people they don't know. This is perfectly natural because trust has a lot to do with it and we can't trust those we do not know. So the more two people spend together and begin to feel trust towards each other, the lower the wall goes.

I think women in particular are more guarded, and with good reason because there are a lot of men out there wanting to use them for their own desire.

No. Unfortunately I am diabetic so can eat very little ice cream. Hence no building of 'walls' round myself.

I prefer the term force field.

I put up walls mostly out of fear. Fear of getting hurt, fear of people knowing too much about me, fear of being vulnerable, etc. It hurts alot to maintain them but I don't know how to take them down.
