Is it better...?!

Question: to assume that you don't belong somewhere, than to go through all the trouble of proving you're fit in a place?

No, don't stress yourself over something that's out of your hands!
Blossom where your planted!

Sometimes it's easier to be lonely...

Have an open mind

I think it's better to be yourself even if it means that you don't belong or fit in.

(Sigh) I keep thinking I am from another solar system coz I can't relate to too many people. And then I found R & S and met many fine deviants and outcasts like myself.

yes.

...it's a common initial reaction and I guess it's the best one has to go on till something else proves otherwise

I spent a good portion of my life trying to "fit in". No matter where or who, I was just not quite the person to adjust to everyone's expectations. It was confusing and lonely and frustrating.

Then God told me who I am!!! I am His child!! I am not supposed to "fit in" because He made me unique!!

Now that I have accepted who I am, I am so much more confident because I know that I am accepted and loved by God!! Now I can be friends with anyone because if they like me or don't like me, it will be because of Jesus living in me!! This is total freedom to be who God made me to be!!

The coolest thing about it is that He already knows everything about me and He accepts me anyway!! I never have to prove anything to the Lord because He already knows my heart!!

Oh, good one....I know where I belong and where I don't, and don't venture where I'm not.

I call this the "Amityville Horror" questions.

If the house itself tells you to get out, that might be a clue that it is time to go.

Sure, chicken little may have over reacted and ant little boy might have cried wolf on too many times but in the end the sky fell and the wolf attacked.

So odds are if you feel it is time to go then you may be right even if you are a bit premature in your judgment.

Remember the Alamo because no one that yelled that phrase that day in Austin was around to repeat it in San Jacinto.

In other words, it could go either way but better safe than sorry, especially you are Houdini and you can get out of the safe if you want to and you don't feel like going to a game store to pay for a really old boardgame.
