Are white socks considered uncool for boys/men/males of all ages?!
Question: My son is almost 4 and I like to buy him white crew socks (with grey on the bottom). My mom said I should be buying him colored socks because she would hate to see him wear white socks when he grows up. Did I miss a memo? Is there something wrong with boys or men wearing white socks? (I don't mean with a suit or anything, I mean just for regular wear.)
How many of you agree or disagree? Are there any men out there willing to say what type of socks they like to wear?

i'm a white socker for my 3 year old son--i bleach those suckers a lot and i don't like to spend time trying to find 2 red socks that match...two blue ones...so on and so on.... my hubby's a white socker, unless he's wearing dress pants.
i think we both missed the memo.....
they are OK for working out, but for casual wear, keep em short or no-show
u can make him wear colorful ones if
u want him to for now, but ones he gets
older he can make the choice of wearing
like coloured ones if he wants to.
so for now; it shouldnt matter much
White socks are fine with sneakers but you don't want him getting in the habit of wearing them with sandals or anything like that..those guys are not cool..I like low cut white athletic socks with my sneakers...when I wear dressier shoes, I wput on the low cut black socks to match my shoes...
rebel wear only white socks even with top siders cause it's cool.
colored socks are for senior citizens
White socks on a man indicate one thing...
