I don't know... maybe it isn't for her? Maybe her bf or friend ordered and she is picking up the tab or something. Yopu never know.
Can you refuse to serve someone? Is it illegal to serve a pregnant woman?
I mean, obviously pregnant women shouldn't be drinking, but that is really between her and her doctor. I have heard of some docs saying , a glass of wine once in a while, while other docs say absolutely no alcohol.
But is it truly the bartenders responsibility? I don't think it is.

How do you know she's not buying it for someone else?
New research has showed its OK for a pregnant woman to have one or two drinks, and if she's far along the chances of damage are minimal anyway. I dont think its my place to be rude and intrusive to not serve her. Now if she was already drunk or ordering shots that'd be different...
Check her ID. Unless she's really dishonest with herself, you'll get a chance to ensure that she is pregnant and not merely beer-bellied.
Then you could ask her what the little one is having.

Politely point out that she is already abusing her baby, refuse to server her, and call security. She would be a fight waiting to happen which would not be good for my bar.

oh come on people...... all those that say refuse...... i don't think you all would..... its your JOB... there is nothin in your job description or the law that says do not serve pregnant women...... i would serve her although i might not like it.... but i would say something discreet.... like oh i don't know....
