Question: If a Genie came out of a bottle and gave you these two choices, which would you pick assuming you HAD to pick one and why?
A: you are granted 100 million dollars to do whatever you want with, but you will only have 10 more years to live.
B: You are granted 10 dollars, but you will live to be 100.

In much less than 100 years, you could turn that 10 bucks into 100 million.
P.S. usually a large prize like that is given in installments so you geniuses who chose A may be getting 5million a year instead of the lump-sum so you could end up dead with only having had access to half of it.

A for sure - quality over quantity - I'd live it up and spend lots of vacations with my family. I'm 49, so I could be content with the arrangement.
A - then I'd be able to do a LOT more things (cuz of the money) and I'd have less responsibilities (like going to college and stuff) and I could have more fun knowing I don't need to worry about my future!

It depends. On one hand I'd love to live until I'm 100, but if I could give 100 million dollars to different charities then it would be amazing. Think of all the good deeds you could do with that. It would also mean that your entire family would be cared for for generations to come.
I would be selfish and live until I'm 100 though, I could buy a CD with the money =0)
I would take the 10 dollars and live to be 100. Life is so short(corny as it might sound) but I am already in my late 40's and realize that so much! Sometimes I get scared that my life is more than 1/2 over and there is so much I still want to do. and even if it isn't traveling or seeing the world, it is time with family and I want to see my 6 year old granddaughter graduate and get married and I want to be a great grandmother. I want to see if my grandson becomes a major league baseball player or musician or whatever he will end up. I want more time with my daughter and my son and I want to spend 100 years with my husband. I would love to know that I have more than 50 years left instead of thinking I have like 30. So ya, I would take the 10 dollars and run into the future with happyness and much more satisfaction than the money and only 10 years to live.
I would choose A. For one, living to be a 100 would be quite a challenge anyways. Most of your friends and family would be gone, and I really don't think I'd want to outlive them. If granted a 100 million dollars, I could do so much with that kind of money- helping out and insuring lives. Within 10 years, I would be able to do alot of living for myself also. Believe me, I would live each day to its fullest!
I'd take the 10$ and immediately start getting in better shape and eating healthier so that at 100, I wouldn't feel so and could enjoy the longevity.
I'm living til I'm 100. This is just way too much fun & I don't want it to end.
