No, my body and eyes are far better than just a box & windows that imprison a soul.
I wouldn't say my body is only the box or that my eyes are only the windows to an imprisoned soul. I feel the eyes are the windows to the soul. I don't think my soul is imprisoned or that my body is just the box.

you could be pessimistic and see it that way, i choose to see it as my body being an RV that my soul gets to cruise around in and see the world

I don't feel as if my soul is imprisoned, no. I want to take care of this "box" as well as I can, to give my soul the best experience of this incarnation as I can. My eyes are indeed a window to my inner emotions, and hopefully, they are as torture-free as possible. How I live my life has a direct impact on all of it. Sometimes I do better than others...

Some days feel that way but other times the eyes is the box while the my body is my soul yearning for release.

All souls are within the body till we die when it leaves the mortal remains. I think the word "imprisoned" does not apply in this situation.
