Question: does it change depending on where in your country you are sending something?
i had to buy 2 stamps today and i was shocked to find that they were 63 cent each (euro)! I remember the good ol' days when they were 32 cent!

Ridiculous isn't it. They just went up another 2 cents here!!! It is highway robbery!! I think they are 41 cents here!! I guess with all the EM they are losing business!!! I bought a bunch of those "forever" stamps that only cost 39cents. Supposedly you can use them "forever" and they will be good even in time of postal increases. I bought a lot of them!!!

stamps are 41 cents per ounce. you only need to put more stamps on by weight.
here they are about 27p
if you get second class its less i think.
but it depends on the weight/size of what you are sending.

i sent a parcel to thailand yesterday, cost me bloody ￡17! and it was only a bit of chocolate!
41 cents in the USA but I heard that it goes up another penny in May...

I'm in the US.. I think they are 41 or 42 cents. They just changed recently and of course, I have a whole book of the old ones, so i either have to use two ( what a waste) or get to the postoffice and get some 2 cent stamps!
