Top 5 favorite bands and why...?!

Question: Mine are:

1. Radiohead - every album never ceases to amaze me, they're melodic and moody and whimsical
2. Bikini Kill - the grrrl riot band makes me proud to be a woman and I think sings important messages
3. The Pixies - They're energetic and I cant help but to move when I listen to them
4. Buddy Guy - I love jazz/blues especially Buddy... he actually influence Hendrix's style so I get to hear a bit of both when I listen to him
5. Of Montreal - Their eclectric electronic sound somehow emulates psychedelic Beatles to me, and they but on a theatrical performance.

Oh that was hard choosing! Tell me why you like what you like! Peace!

Moist - Because David Usher is a genius.
Placebo - I love their lyrics.
the GazettE - Good music to rock out to.
The Smashing Pumpkins - Do they really need an explanation?
Reik - I like a bit of Spanish music every now and then, and the guy's voice is lovely.

Ok, I like classic rock so these are my choices (today)

The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
The Eagles
King Crimson

Chosen primarily for good songwriting and musicianship. Decades later, the words and music are still in my head.

1. Paramore - They're amazing and their songs suit my personality perfectly. Plus, I have a crush on the singer, Hayley. And they shine brighter than anyone does.
2. Simple Plan - Their songs are the soundtrack to my life and, I'd do anything to hold you in my arms.
3. Say Anything - They're completely hillarious and their music makes me feel happy, because baby girl, I'm a blur.
4. Linkin Park - I love listening to them when I'm angry. Their music is perfect for bleeding out my anger.
5. Panic at the Disco - They're wierd and I like listening to them at 9 in the afternoon because my eyes are the size of the moon.

Thursday: A mix of hardcore, but is easy to listen to. Lyrics are amazing

The Appleseed Cast: Very unique. A sound I've never really heard before.

the pAper chAse: Another unique sound. Clashing chords create a really spooky atmosphere

Bright Eyes: Connor is a genius. Such wonderful music. He has improved greatly since his first album.Pay 13-15 dollars and you're guaranteed to get at least 60 minutes of music (A lot of musicians are cutting corners, releasing as few songs as possible. Not Bright Eyes.)

Motion City Soundtrack: Makes heavy use of a keyboard (can't remember what it's called exactly), as well as the lead singers voice, produces a different sound, and the songs are (for the most part) amazing.

As you can see, I prefer unique music, not the crap that's in the "mainstream". They're all the same.
