Question: pity is slightly worse than disdain.

Answers: pity is slightly worse than disdain.

Pity.

Pity.

I think disdain. It is such an active dislike. Pity at least offers a glimmer of caring or concern.

definitely pity

pity

depends but i would have to go with disdain

Pity. Disdain is that you disagree. Pity is that you believe it beyond all help and hope.

Disdain, because at least if they pity you, they care, but with disdain, they just find you unsavory.

P.S. I'm not sure many of these folks know what disdain is.

Pity. I hate being pitied. grr.

disdain

Who cares. Really.

pity

Pity of course

Disdain - it is like hatred. Takes too much energy.

They're both pretty bad but I would say pity. It sucks to be hated but it sucks even more to be pitied because you're hated.

Disdain.

disdain.

Pity is worse to me, grrr I hate it

pity! i hate it wen people feel bad for me because i know that they dont really like me. They are just talking to me to get me to feel better because they are good people. ;(

Disdain,

Distain. A harder view! Good day.

Disdain. Hate that.

Disdain, I find it much worse to be looked down upon and be around people who feel Superior to me then to be around people who feel sorry for me. Pity is usually temporary where as disdain is more permanent.
