Question: I am turning 13 in May and need a job so I can get extra cash.

paper route perhaps, dog walking umm....dishes at a restaurant
maybe she can get a job as a soccer refferee... you can do that in the U.S
Any convenience store, safeway, Super drug mart, anywhere! Just try applying everywhere that seems interesting! If you don't try, you won't know if you couldn't make it.
Mow lawns, sell some of your old CDs or books (many used book or music stores give good deals), help a parent or a parent's friend/coworker with office things (filing, envelope stuffing, cleaning)...
At your age you should be enjoying no work while you can, but if you really want to work thats also good. Just go around to places and hand in a resume' tell them you know your're a bit young but you will dedicate yourself to the work and you're really interested in working there. i hope some places accept your age levels GOOD LUCK

If you get lots of tourists you can like go to the beach and pick up glass that has been dulled by the water and sell it to them, worked for me up here in alaska.
