A large body of water and a lot of...seaweed. That's probably what they eat. Unless you want to give up your bathtub - But I think they might get bathtub sores on their tails. Maybe do a little more research.

Generally, you would feed a mermaid bloodworms and brine shrimp. However, once a month, they require chocolate covered sardines. Mermen, on the other hand, will eat anything.

I don't think so.. But you might need a really HUUGE aquarium.
Rule # 1: You have to live in a land far far away.
Rule # 2: Your best friend has to be either a yellow and blue fish, or a lobster (crabs will also suffice)
Rule # 3: Make sure your home has been watersecure checked, and fill your home with gallons and gallons of water. Lots of room for her to swim around (what you can't swim??! meh)
Feedings: Mermaids are particularly fond of babies and kittens. Remember to use a feeding pole as the mermaids become rampant when feeding time comes around and you don't want to lose an arm!!
