Would an iPod Nano set off the metal detector at the Airport?!
Question: yes it would. that is why you put it in your carry on bag that goes through the big xray machine. if it is with you when you go through the medal detector it will go off. trust me i just went through this process

Well, I always put it on my laptop bag or just on a carrying bag.
I go through with mine all the time - well it goes through in my purse and other misc...stuff - and I travel several times a month. It's not once ever caused me a problem; I just have to place it through the x-ray with my purse/watch/shoes on the conveyor belt while I walk through. They never tag anyone for iPods.
