Support or Against Seal Hunt?!
Question: fully support it.
It is against regulations to kill seal pups and skin them alive.
There are over 5 million harp seals off the coast of Newfoundland alone. The population isn't hurting from the hunt
It provides employment for thousands of First Nations and Euro- Canadians
The meat oil and fur is used. The meat and oil are rich in omega 3 and 6 so super good for the heart.
When following regulations a seal does not suffer and dies almost instantly.
The seal hunt is no worse then the slaughter of farm animals. So if you don't mind a hamburger you shouldn't mind flipper pie.
Most groups against the seal hunt make money by passing on poor information. They use the White coat seal as a mascot. The white coat seals haven't been hunted since 1987.
I think if people knew more about how the seal hunt is done instead of watching videos on you tube they would have a better under standing of it.

Totally against it! We are having so many problems with our environment right now that we don't need to kill off the animals along with it!
