It's not that it's confidential. It's the power of cheese to absorb information from its surroundings. By shredding it, we are minimizing the information contained in each piece of cheese, thereby limiting the amount of information we consume with each piece, preventing stomachaches.
i know my cheese has secrets i put him in a room under a hot lamp and interrogate him but he just melts. he would rather commit suicide then tell his cheesy tales.
