having friends for life. not many, but meaning to each other the most.
my girlfriend said yes when i proposed to her in church it was funny how it happened my pastor does a question and answer before each sunday service and we had missionaries and he said he had enough time for one more question and i asked for his microphone keep in mind she was to busy looking in a hymn book because she had to sing in front of our church and she didn't see me coming towards her and i guess i caught her off guard next thing she knew it she saw me on my knee and i asked her to marry me and just in kidding at first she said no i guess the look on my face was priceless then she said yes.....LOL it was funny because i had 1/2 the chruch in tears anyway that's my story.

My two children, without a doubt. They are grown, and have turned into two people I'm very proud of. My daughter is my best friend. When life craps on me, she's always in my corner to give advice and a shoulder to cry on.
The second best thing to ever happen to me was meeting my second husband. He was the best man I ever had. We had a blissful 7? years together, before cancer stole him from me. He was only 51. We of course hadn't expected anything like that, so had made no provisions for me to get along without him. The aftermath and choices I had to make were very hard, and I still feel like I don't have my "real" life back. Even still, if I had known how it was going to turn out, I would do it all over again. My Bill was the one decent man in a world full of jerks.
So, my kids and my Bill are the 3 best things to ever happen to me. My kitty-cat is a close 4th!
