How do i choose someones answer as the best answer on yahoo answers???!
Question: Aha, something I can finally share.... you wait for approx four hours after the questions have been answered, then when you go to your new answers you will see a blue bar saying "choose (or pick) as best answer" then you decide which one you want and push it, then you get asked to rate by stars and pass comments if you want to the person you choose. For the answer you choose as best, that person gets ten points and I think you get four, if you dont know which one is best you can send it for voting by the community, but it is more fun to choose yourself. Now please can I have my ten points lol

i think you have to wait till you see the best answer button on the anwers!
click on your question, read the answers, and then click choose best answer you could do that right now to mine...LOL
You have to wait until the button appears which is something like 3-6 hours. Then you need to read them all twice and usually one will speak to you as best.

There will be a best answer buttion under each answer and then you click on the one with your choice.
But you have to wait for a little wile before it shows

You have to wait about 4 hours and then a button will appear.

if you receive an email from yahoo that someone has answered your question, then you should be able to choose a best answer.

You can put a question up for a vote:
* When there are two or more answers to your question.
* After the question has been up for at least 4 hours.
* Within the 4-day open period and before the question expires.
To put a question up for vote:
1. Go to the question.
2. Click Edit in the action bar below the question.
3. Select Ask for a Vote in the edit menu.
If you take no action and the question expires, it automatically goes to a vote.
you go into undcided questions and pick the anwser you feel the most appropriate

after 4 hours you will see a blue capsule, in which it will be clearly mentioned "choose as best answer". just click that .. :)

you need to wait 4 hours before you are able to vote
and when you go back - below the answer you like is a blue button that says Choose as Best Answer in white lettering click it and that person wins
It will be the one that "rings the bell" for you.......
and then follow instructions.......careful it takes aThird Grade
education or better.
It takes a minimum of four hours before a question is available to be voted on, this gives everyone in the US time zones an equal chance to answer it. Once that time is up, go to your profile and open up "My Questions" scroll down to the question in mind and open that. Each question will have a blue 'Choose as Best Answer" button at the bottom. If you have a favorite answer, select that, give it a 1-5 star rating and leave a comment for the answerer. If you can't decide on a BA, you might go by the number of thumbs up and select that way. If none of the answers do it for you, under options you can send the question to voting. Then you can go in and vote for "None of the Above" and leave the winner up to the rest of the people. BA gets 10 points, you get 3 for selecting best answer and 2 for voting and of course -5 for asking.
