Around here everyone removes their shoes when they enter a house.

Yeah a guy I dated in high school, he was some sort of Asian. I love being barefoot anyway, especially in the grass.

Yes, my best friend and my sister do. They both have new floors in their houses and don't want it marked up by scuffs caused by sneakers or shoes.

In my house....everyone removes their shoes.....

my mom's neighbor! it's weird in a way, you have to remove your shoes, but the dog can go outside and do his business and come right back in. strange, huh?

Yea, have friends like that and I try to be like that in my house too. It's cleaner that way.

We never wear our shoes at home.

xx

no..but im not aluoud to wear shoes around @ my house lol my mom hates it. i'm only thirteen tho so i have an excuse.

I have a problem with that. People who come to my place say they don't let people wear shoes in their house. I have a mat at my door and I walk around in my place shoeless. I don't have many people over because although I'd like them to be shoeless indoors, I'd rather they not be in their bare feet. Is there a solution out there?

During the time I was growing up my parents had to have their kitchen floor changed out twice because they had linoleum back then and the high heels from 2 1/4" pumps cut holes in the linoleum. I can understand how that would ruin kitchen floors and bathroom floors these days from the even higher stilettos women wear today. But when we say "no shoes in the house" these days I think we mean that because we have light colored wall to wall rugs. I have my rugs cleaned several times a year, and yes it does get expensive.

Those are pretty toes Feetie. If you be sweet maybe I will put mine back up. ?

That is Japan custom, all my friends do it, I ask visitor remove shoes at my home.

It is common courtesy and sense to remove shoes when entering someone's house. Unless you live in a barn.

I have an acquatance that does that. She even does it at my house. I can understand why.. you can track a lot of yucky germs into the house if you walk around in shoes... but honestly, who cares.. I rarely lick the floor. LOL

The last one I went to they provided little slippers, because they didn't want your feet touching their floors either. Sorry Feetie, no fun there.

I will but only if you stepped in dog doo first!

I have never had anyone ask me to do that, but I do think it is polite to remove your shoes before wandering around someone's house (unless they have a really funky, dirty floor). I NEVER wear shoes inside my house. I leave them by the door.

hmmm ... well when ever I visit Benny the Bear's place he tells me .... if I know whats good for me ... I besta take off those shoes. If his woman wakes up ... there will be heck to pay.

LMAO!!!

My Mom used to.

But that is the first thing I always do when I get home.

I do not do it other people's house, unless it is family.

Can I do it at your house? Of so, I expect a massage!!
