Yes, I did and also turned everything off, except the refrigerator. I would really like to think that it made a difference. Perhaps bringing awareness to people is a good place to start?

I didn't even know about it! If I turned off my lights, my bird might get cranky. Trust me, we are all better off with a sweet friendly parrot rather than a cranky one.
We did, but everyone else around our street seemed to have their lights blazing away as usual. I would like to say it made a difference but I think you actually need longer term solutions than this.
