That, I don't notice. I notice when a good answer doesn't get more thumbs-up or when a good question doesn't get any stars but not that.
I guess the few time that I did it was just 1 star but that is usually when I was trying to help someone with no answers.

Yes, actually I do ....... I have never understood why people would only give you 1, 2, 3, or 4 stars instead of 5 ....... they are chosing your answer as the best answer and its not like the stars are costing them anything ....... so what's the problem? ....... why are people so stingy? ....... Power trips or just being an a#@ ...... who really knows ........ = )
